Vuoden valoisinta aikaa. Kesä tulossa ja lehdet puihin puhkeamassa. Lintuja on runsaasti. Kutunivassa on telkkiä, koskeloita ja punajalkavikloja. Myös kaksi kuikkaa näin kauempana järven selällä. Käkiä lentelee runsaasti joka puolella. Ajoin pyörällä Torassieppiin, jossa näin vuosi sitten suokukkoja. Siellä niitä oli nytkin. Suokukko on komea lintu. Tuntuu, kuin se ei oikein sopisi Lapin karuun maisemaan.
Suurimman osan kuvista otin digiscoping-menetelmällä. Siinä digikamera yhdistetään kaukoputkeen erityisen sovittimen avulla. Kuvaamista varten tarvitaan myös melko tukeva jalusta, sillä pienikin liike tekee kuvista epäteräviä. Koko menetelmä on vielä opetteluvaiheessa. Kuvaterävyyden kanssa on suuria ongelmia.

This is the most light full time of year. The summer is coming and leaves are bursting to trees. There are plenty of birds. In Kutuniva I saw goldeneyes, merganser and common redshanks. Also two black-throated divers shimmed further away in the back of the lake . Cuckoos are plenty everywhere. I drove by bicycle to Torassieppi, where I saw a year ago ruffs. There those were also now. The ruff is handsome bird. Feel, like it doesn't correct agreed to Lapland, where the landscape is very bare.
Largest part from the pictures I took with digiscoping-method where a digital camera is connected to the telescope with a special adapter. Also rather firm tripod is needed because all movement disturbs the focusing. Whole method is yet in learning phase. With the picture sharpness there are a lot of problems.
