Pakkasta on 5 - 10 astetta mutta lunta vain nimeksi. Kävin jäällä. Se paukkui ja piti meteliä. Jäähän syntyi pitkiä halkeamia. Ääni siitä oli aika hätkähdyttävä. Talviuimarien avannon reunalla oli yksinäinen koskikara.

Vuokrasin hotellista retkiluistimet ja kokeilin niitä. Tällaisella kelillä kun lunta on jäällä vähän, niillä on käyttöä. Tapasin myös muita luistelijoita. Hiihtäminen ei näin vähillä lumilla onnistunut.

There was frost 5- 15 degrees but snow only very little. On ice it cracked and held noise. The frost made to the ice long splits. The sound about that was quite startling. On the edge of the winter swimmers hole in the ice was lonely dipper.

I rented from hotel ice-skates and I tried those. With this kind of ice conditions when there is snow on the ice little, they can be used. I met also other skaters. The skiing was not possible with that little snow.
